Introduction to Visual Scripting
Live Stream Host: Jonathan GonzalezLearn the basic concepts of game logic by using visual scripting with Bolt. Bolt is a visual scripting asset for use in Unity. We will dive into common topics from the Game Programming Bootcamp and discuss how we can replicate similar mechanics using visual scripting. If you're brand new to game development or you're looking for an easier way to bring your game ideas to life then this is the live stream to watch!
It's a good aproach :) how's the modeling going so far?
for me it's modeling in Blender, then properly UV unwrapping, then getting a good texture(s) applied.
You're probably right, it also took me a long time to finally start with Blender and when I finally did it wasn't too bad :)
Just set small mile stones like understanding the terminology, placing objects in game, using assets etc
woot! It's never as difficult as you think, least in regards to getting started
:( has to be :) of course!! Typo
That's a smart aproach :( all right I'm stating it, I'm gonna do the first beginner course this weekend!
but I am using Blender daily just to get better at it. Little by little.
Lol :D
Hah, I do the same thing but with Unity versus Blender
I have watched a lot of videos for unity, but still have to open it for the first time.. always resort back to "oh I can do that in Blender too"
Should really get it over with and dive in
thanks Darren
People tend to stick to what they know best ;)
I actually have that, Bolt and Playmaker, but always resort to writing code manually.
oo, congrats Phil when the wee ones comes along
Oh I think I have FlowCanvas myself. I think it came with that Unity bundle on Humble Bundle
Let's hope baby doesn't wait too long then Phil
Sounds promising Jonathan :) I've been looking forward to this stream!
dont have Bolt, but got FlowCanvas that I got in a bundle a few months ago. not used it yet.
only used node based stuff in Blender and Amplify SE (still learning that too)
high blood pressure, and not the best, but hey, baby comes when baby comes I guess
