I just wanted to know, is that correct to unwrap such objects in a manner I did it? I put a single seam across the object to split it to two almost symmetrical sides.

Hallo,
I unwrapped almost all objects. But when I get to the bolts I always the UV map always says that it's stretched. Has anyone an idea why that is? (I'm using Blender 2.81c)

(hope I set it up right this time to view)
The mesh seems to think that there is a seam in places its not. not sure how to fix.
the other issue is when it is all grouped. the rim does not show the tile texture not sure what i did.

Note I have been going through the videos and on my own for a day or two now and can't see what i did wrong.

Select linked Object Data isn't working.
My linked objects aren't being selected for some reason my Meshe's have the "fake user" shield where there should be a number next to show how many objects are linked to the object data. Is there a way to fix this?

It shows up as a small orange point along the x-axis, and as a stray line in the UV layout. However, I can't seem to figure out how to select and remove it.

I had some issues with only a few UV's displaying in the UV editor so I looked around and turns out I needed to select the sync button in the top left in order to have all my UV's display in the Editor. Im not sure why? or how the editor became un-synced, but this seemed to fix the issue.

Hi Kent, so for the UV test image. You get the image shown at 25:50, when I try to do that I get the following.
What is happening?
Actually never mind about the first question, I just had to go to the materials tab and select the treasure_chest material.
How did you apply the same material to all the objects without going to each individual object and editing the material?
