Solid work on this exercise darryl! The main reason I docked some points were for there being no noticeable new assets to the scene. Instead it looks like a 1-to-1 copy of the course scene. The goal with adding new assets is to challenge you to apply the techniques to unique objects.

Other than that I have a couple notes to offer:

    1. The fog is very yellowy-orange which makes the scene feel a bit more like forest fire smoke/haze than fog to me. I like the fog having some color but leaning toward either blue/green or desaturated is going to produce a more fog-like feel.

    2. The trees on the background mountains appear to be the same exact height. Varying their sizes will produce a more believable result.

Regardless of these notes you've done good work. Keep it up!

The hero tree blends in a bit too much with the background colors. Maybe you can some contrast in the scene and make it stand out more. Love how the fog feels, especially behind the three on the left.

    Very nice result! Well done.
